How to Become the Face of Your Brand

Okay, so you’re terrified of stepping into the spot light. I get it. I was too. I was scared to put myself out there and worried about what my audience would think. But if I can do it, you certainly can do it too.

The truth is - whether you like it or not - you ARE the face of your brand. And it’s a great power you’re wielding. But it’s up to you how you use it.

People want to connect names and faces to the brands they love, and by allowing your customers to do this you create strong bonds.

To help you make the most of your connection-creating opportunity, I’ve put together some simple steps you can take today to be more comfortable and confident in representing your brand to the world.

But first, let’s clear up some misconceptions:
#1 – you don’t have to be a celebrity to have a strong brand
#2 – you don’t have to be a professional speaker to captivate your audience
#3 – you don’t have to be everywhere all the time

Feel better? Great. Let’s get this train rolling. So, 3 simple steps to develop your own irresistibly magnetic brand:

#1 – Feature yourself on your company website

Pick a website page and create a profile for yourself. The “About” page is a good choice. Write in the first person and really embrace your personal voice. You aren’t boring so your bio shouldn’t be either.

Be upbeat and sell your future clients on your ability and your personality. Share your credentials and successes – your clients want to know that they can trust you and your services or products.

Include several recent and professional looking photos of yourself, but not a boring “corporate” headshot. Choose images that show off your personality and connect with your clients.

I hope you find these tips helpful!
